My name is Ryan and I am currently an MBA student and Marketing Coordinator at the University of California, Riverside - School of Business (expected to graduate: June 2024). As per my experience in marketing, I provide general support for all marketing and communication activities for a variety of school programs including the Education Abroad Program, School of Business, and Chicano Student Association Program. Currently, not only do I assist with social media management, copywriting, photography, video production, editing, graphic design, and event support, but I also aid in conducting basic research on mark trends in higher education and international outreach.
Also, as an MBA student at UCR, specializing in both Business Analytics and Marketing, I am also both a Teacher's Assistant for the Strategic Management class and a Research Assistant in Consumer Behavior. Both of which, I bare the responsibility for organizing class material, researching course concepts, and collaborating with students achieving a greater understanding of these subjects. I am passionate about learning more about the world of business through classes, news, and research, and applying these analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world scenarios.
My goal this coming year is to leverage my marketing, communication, and analytical skills toward making smarter, data-based decision making for managers to create a positive impact in the field of education, consulting, and small businesses across the country. Building off of this, my end goal is to achieve a career in marketing / branding strategy.

Fun Facts About Me
I spent an semester abroad in Madrid, Spain
In June of 2021, I had the privilege to fulfill my lifelong dream and study abroad in beautiful Spain. While there, I was able to travel to numerous cities in the country, visit 7 different countries, and go backpacking across northern Spain and eastern France. In addition, not only was I able to obtain my associates in International Business, but I was also involved in a market research project.
I Love Sports!
From my earliest memories, I have had a passion for various physical / extra curricular activities including: Surfing, Running, Golf, Football, Beach Volleyball, Pickleball, Soccer, and more. I have had the pleasure to play for numerous clubs, organizations, and colleges.
I enjoy reading / learning
In 2023, I had set the goal to read 50 books within the year - and I exceeded over that amount. This year, I hope to do the same! I have grown an immense passion for learning and reading, which includes books, audiobooks, and research articles on corporate strategy, consumer behavior, psychology, marketing, anthropology, theology, financial management, and biographies.
